Spring characteristic of the gas spring:
As can be seen from the graphic, the spring characteristic represents the force progression of the gas spring over the stroke, from the extended to the inserted state and back.
In the process, the spring characteristic value represents the force ratio F2/F1. When designing a pneumatic spring, the force F1 is the most important criterion in addition to the dimensions. The force F1 is measured 5 mm before the end of the extension movement, thus defining the value of the spring force. The force FR resulting from the friction is created between the force lines in the insertion and extension direction.

Main production flow
Tube cutting
First cut the tube into required length, then ultrosound-cleaning, and then weld it with the end-cap.
Spin riveting
Rivet piston and piston rod together. If it is a lockable gas spring, then the piston is a controllable valve type.
Assembly
Assemble the piston rod sub-assembly, tube, O-ring, and other parts together, add hydraulic oil to the cylinder, and fill with pure nitrogen.
Force characteristic testing
Under the dynamic test or static test, record the F1, F2, F3, F4 and observe whether unnormal phenomenon happend.
Tube painting
Black painting the tube to anti-rust and reach 500 hours salt-spray standard.
Placement
Place the gas spring for 5 days and 100% inspection to ensure that the gas spring deliver to customer does not leak.
Outgoing full inspection
Before packing and delivery, fully inspect the force value, appearance, size, etc.
